Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) shares jumped 10% on Wednesday to reach the day’s high of Rs 598 on the BSE following the company’s announcement that it received an acceptance letter from Nagpur Metro, the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) saw a 7% increase in its share price during early trading on July 10 after the announcement of winning orders worth Rs 389 crore.

RVNL was up Rs 39.45, or 7.26%, at Rs 582.60 on the BSE at 09:21 am.

Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Nagpur Metro) granted the company a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the construction of six elevated metro stations under Reach 2B of NMRP Phase 2. With a total project cost of Rs 187.34 crore, these stations include Cantonment, Kamptee Police Station, Kamptee Municipal Council, Dragon Palace, Golf Club and Kanhan River Metro Station.

As of 11:27 am, RVNL shares were trading 7.35% higher at ₹582.15.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) shares jumped around 6% to Rs 410 in Tuesday’s BSE session after the company won an order worth Rs 160 crore from East Coast Railway a few days ago.

“Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) from East Coast Railway for the provision of an automatic block signalling system with dual MSDAC and alterations in existing El/Pl/RRI stations in the sections of Jakhapura-Nergundi, Khurda Road-Bhusandpur & Bhusandpur-Golanthara over Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway,” according to an exchange filing by the company.

RVNL’s share opened at ₹397 and closed at ₹396.1 on the last day of trading. The day’s high was ₹398.15, and the low was ₹383. The market capitalization now stands at ₹81,472.16 crore. The stock’s 52-week high is ₹424.95, while the low is ₹116.15. The BSE volume for the day was 1,752,843 shares traded.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) shares increased by as much as 3.57% on Friday, reaching an intraday high of Rs 382 per share. The company’s order from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) for Rs 495 crore caused a rise.

In an exchange filing, RVNL stated, “It is hereby informed that Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received Letter of Award from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) for Project Execution Agency (PEA) contract for execution of Balance Civil & HM works of Barrage Complex including part HRT package of Rammam Hydro Electric Project Stage-III (3×40 MW).”

As per the contract, RVNL will be in charge of carrying out the balance of the civil & HM works of the barrage complex, as well as the full HRT package of the Rammam hydroelectric project stage-III (3×40 MW).

It is anticipated that the project will be completed in 66 months. Amount of the project: Rs 495,14,16,130.68 crore.
