Nucleus Software shares jump over 5% after company announces buyback plans
The shares of Nucleus Software increased by 5% in early trading today, following a 15% increase yesterday, August 20, after the company’s announcement of buyback plans. Nucleus Software’s stock is seeing a lot of market movement as of 10:40 AM today. The stock showed a significant rise from the previous closing of ₹1,410.05.
Nucleus Software Exports’ board will hold a board meeting on August 22, 2024, to evaluate and approve a buyback proposal for equity shares.
This will be Nucleus Software’s third buyback, following those in 2017 and 2021. In 2021, the company did a buyback of 22.67 lakh shares for Rs 700 per share.
As of 10:43 am, Nucleus Software shares were trading 5.42% higher at Rs 1,486.45 on the NSE.
