Jubilant Ingrevia share witnesses a strong rally of 8% after Q1FY25 results

Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd’s shares rose more than 8% on Friday, despite the company reporting a decline in net profit and sales for the three months ended June 2024 (Q1FY25).
Slightly lower than the previous closing level of ₹ 562.8, the stock opened at ₹562.15 per share on the BSE. But the stock quickly reached its intraday high of ₹611.05, indicating a rise of 8.57% from the prior closing. The stock is 41% up from its 52-week low of ₹399.1 per share.
The firm reported a 15.5% YoY decrease in net profit for the first quarter ending June 30, 2024, to ₹48.7 crore on July 16.
According to a regulatory filing, Jubilant Ingrevia reported a net profit of ₹57.6 crore for the same period the previous year.
As of 2:30 pm, Jubilant Ingrevia shares were trading 0.35% higher at ₹565.20.
