Bajaj Auto share drops 3% after Q1 results

Even after the automaker posted solid first-quarter results for FY25, analysts seemed to be concerned about the stock valuations, which led to a 3% decline in the price of Bajaj Auto shares during early trading on Thursday. On the BSE, Bajaj Auto dropped as much as 3.72% to ₹9,345.95 per share.
Bajaj Auto recorded a net profit of ₹1,988 crore in the June 2024 quarter, up 19.4% from the previous year’s ₹1,665 crore.
In Q1FY24, Bajaj Auto’s operating revenue increased 15.7% YoY to ₹11,928 crore from ₹10,310 crore, due to robust vehicle sales and record-breaking revenue. Compared to the same quarter last year, when 10,27,407 units were sold, the total sales volumes for the current quarter climbed by 7% to 11,02,056 units.
As of 10:26 am, Bajaj Auto shares were trading 2.21% lower at ₹9498.44.
