Chetana Education share makes debut on NSE SME with 16% premium
The share of Chetana Education debuted positively on NSE SME today. The opening price of Chetana Education’s shares today was Rs 98.90, a 16.35% increase over the Rs 85 issue price.
The initial public offering (IPO) subscription period for Chetana Education began on July 24 and ended on Friday, July 26. Each share in the Chetana Education IPO was priced between Rs 80 and Rs 85, with a face value of Rs 10. There are also multiples of the 1600 shares that were available for bid. On the last day of bidding, the Chetana Education IPO subscription status was 196.87 times.
Chetana Education’s IPO comprised 50% of the net issue for QIB, 35% for retail investors and 15% for the NII segment.
Chetana Education currently offers textbooks for grades K-12, as well as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Maharashtra State Board, beginning with early pre-primary education. More than 6 million books were sold by the company to students in pre-primary, primary, secondary and senior secondary classes in FY-23.
