Adani Enterprises hits new high, climbs 9.72% amid Exit Polls
As the BSE Sensex climbed over 2,600 points in what has been termed the ‘Modi rally’ today, a slew of Adani group shares hit 10% circuit limits on the hope that political continuity, as predicted by exit polls, would assist capex-related equities maintain high valuations. As the Adani group’s market capitalization (m-cap) reached pre-Hindenburg Research levels, a few groups of the company’s stocks jumped up to 16%. Adani Enterprises increased by 9.72% to reach an all-time high of Rs 3,743. At Rs 875, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) had a 9.55% increase. Adani Power jumped to Rs 875, up 15.64%.
Adani Green Energy Ltd gained 9.65% to Rs 2100.10, while Adani Energy Solutions Ltd increased 9.38% to Rs 1,228.10. To Rs 1,197.95, Adani Total Gas Ltd. saw a 15.28% increase.
To Rs 380.55, Adani Wilmar Ltd climbed 6.94 percent. Ambuja Cements and ACC both saw gains of 5-7 percent.
