Gold and silver prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
On the MCX, gold futures with a maturity date of August 5, 2024, were trading at Rs 72,452 per 10 grams, up Rs 119 or 0.16 percent. At Rs 72,333, the previous closing was recorded.
In the meantime, silver futures maturing on September 5, 2024 rose by Rs 797, or 0.86 percent, to Rs 93,411 per kg on the MCX, up from the previous close of Rs 92,614.

New Delhi: In the capital city, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 6,725 per gram, while silver costs Rs 94,500 per kilogram.
Mumbai: In Mumbai, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 6,725 per gram, while silver is priced at Rs 94,500 per kilogram.
Kolkata: In this city, the prices mirror those in Mumbai, with 22-carat gold at Rs 6,710 per gram and silver at Rs 94,500 per kilogram.
Chennai: The southern city shows the highest rates among the four, with 22-carat gold priced at Rs 6,770 per gram and silver costing Rs 99,000 per kilogram.
