In today’s Indian markets, precious metals showed mixed trends. On Thursday, July 4, silver prices saw a decline, while gold was trading higher on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
Gold futures, which will mature on August 5, 2024, were up only Rs 71, or 0.10 percent, to Rs 72,474 per 10 grams. At Rs 72,403, the previous closing was noted.
Silver futures, due on September 5, 2024, saw a decline of Rs 186, or 0.20 percent, and were trading on the MCX at Rs 91,835 per kg, down from the previous close of Rs 92,021.

New Delhi: In New Delhi, the price of Gold (22 carats) is Rs 6,649 per 10 grams. The silver price in the city is Rs 91,600 per kilogram.
Mumbai: In New Delhi, the price of Gold (22 carats) is Rs 6,634 per 10 grams. The silver rate in Mumbai matches that of New Delhi at Rs 91,600 per kilogram.
Kolkata: In Kolkata, the eastern metropolis, Gold (22 carats) is priced at Rs 6,634 per 10 grams. The silver rate in Kolkata is also the same as Mumbai and New Delhi, standing at Rs 91,600 per kilogram.
Chennai: In Chennai, the price of Gold (22 carats) is Rs 6,696 per 10 grams. The silver price in the city is Rs 96,100 per kilogram.
