Gold-Silver price today (July 19, 2024); Check latest rates in your city

In the local markets of Delhi on Thursday, the price of gold increased by Rs 700 to Rs 76,400 per 10 grams due to both new domestic demand and currency depreciation. The All India Sarafa Association reports that the previous session’s closing price for yellow metal was Rs 75,700 per 10 grams.

The precious gold increased its gains for the sixth consecutive session, rising by Rs 700 to Rs 76,400 per 10 grams in the national capital. In the meantime, gold of 99.5% purity increased by Rs 750 to Rs 76,100 per 10 kilos. However, silver prices fell by Rs 400 to Rs 94,000 per kg from Rs 94,400 per kg the previous day.

Gold futures, which will mature on August 5, 2024, saw a slight increase on the MCX at approximately 7.30 AM on July 19, trading at Rs 74,187 per 10 grams. Silver futures expiring on September 5, 2024, were trading at Rs 91,795 a kilogram on Friday, July 19, at roughly 7.30 AM.
