Craftsman Automation shares fall 4% after Q1 results

In the trading session on Thursday, Craftsman Automation’s shares fell 4% after the company released its first-quarter fiscal year 2024 results. Consolidated net profit for the firm decreased by 28.58% to Rs 53.19 crore in the quarter that ended in June 2024 from Rs 74.48 crore in the same period the year before.

Craftsman Automation had a 10.94% growth in sales, to Rs 1,151.19 crore from Rs 1,037.63 crore in the same quarter of the previous year, despite the decline in net profit. However, a drop in profitability is reflected in the operating profit margin (OPM), which dropped from 20.65% to 17.14%.

Craftsman Automation shares were down 2.23% at Rs 5,194.00 on the NSE as of 11:28 AM.
