Antony Waste Handling Cell share witnesses positive trading day as shares jump around 7%
Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd. shares jumped more than 7% on Monday after the firm announced an 11% year-on-year increase in core revenue in the June quarter, led by excellent performance in the Collection and Disposal sector and a ramp-up at the Waste-to-Energy (WtE) facility in Pimpri, near Pune.
The firm revealed that its WtE plant had a Plant Load Factor (PLF) of around 89% during the quarter, compared to 71% in the March quarter, which was its first full quarter of operation, in its business update for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 (Q1 FY25).

About 0.47 million tonnes were handled by the Collection and Transportation (C&T) business division in the June quarter, which represents a 4% increase over the same time the previous year.
